it's easy to be young
all or nothing you know, hey rock 'n' roll
it's easy to attach and then let go
days just come and sundays go by
and it's easy to play the guitar in the night
it's so easy to be happy
and satisfied with what you've got


i'ts easy to be free and imagine there's a reason for everything
but how would you explain the genesis or love
i can plan my whole life, a wife and a job and a house, too 
but then everything goes differently, someone plans it all better than me 

it's so easy to be happy

and satisfied with what you've got
